I admit since I tried the Starbuck’s Green Tea Soy Latte as introduced by my friend Jen, I have become curious of other products that contain Green Tea. Taking in Green Tea / Matcha is somehow an acquired taste, as some people are unable to tolerate it.
Green Tea is considered an antioxidant. I prefer it cold though. As thought in the Tea Ceremony during my trip in China, Hot Green Tea can be used both for diet or to gain weight depending on when you take it. Take it before meals if you want to gain weight and after meals if you want to lose weight.
Green tea has its amazing health benefits — http://www.myhealthtips.in/2013/06/amazing-health-benefits-of-green-tea.html
My personal favorites from the above food and drinks: (but all other are worth trying as well)
– Green Tea Frappuccino Blended Cream with Java Chips (Starbucks)
– Kitkat Green Tea Wafer Chocolates (Japanese Supermarket)
– Green Tea Ice Popsicle (Korean Supermarket)
– Tropical Fruits with Green Tea Icecream (UCC)
My latest find at Robinsons Supermarket – Matcha Milk Tea Latte. It is a cheaper way to satisfy the Green Tea Drink cravings (PHP120 per box of 10 sachets). Best serve hot than iced. Cheaper alternative for that Green Tea Drink cravings. But on limited stocks and unable to find one in any of the following Robinsons Supermarket anymore – Eastwood, Galleria, and Magnolia. Not found in Puregold and Shopwise.
I will continue on trying Green Tea products in the market and update this article.
Or feel free to recommend any Green Tea products you have tried that I can try.
