PHL | Weeknight Foodtrip at Tomas Morato

by blueclouds

Somebody is craving for a cheesecake, not me but my friend.
So I searched over the internet what restaurants offered the best cheesecake in the Metro Manila. And google gave me this website: http://www.spot.ph/gallery/1078/top-10-cheesecakes-in-manila/article/48031. Most of the restaurants are located in Fort Bonifacio which I have crossed out due to its location. We were down to either Katipunan or Tomas Morato. Since my friend has not been to Tomas Morato, there we go for somewhere different (to her but not for me as I have grown up in Tomas Morato :))

#3 on the list was Cheesecake by Uno (P65/slice; P650/whole cake) located at 195-C Scout Fuentebella Street (near corner of Tomas Morato), Quezon City. However seeing the cake at Uno, my friend was not impressed and was craving for Blueberry Cheesecake which they don’t sell at Uno, they only have the New York Cheesecake. So, we went out of the restaurant and searched for another that sells Blueberry Cheesecake.

Nearby, across the street of Tomas Morato, we saw Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee, curious we are we entered and checked on their cakes. We ordered two cakes – blueberry cheesecake and their Best Seller Mango Walnut Cake.

The blueberries on top of the cake were already frozen as such not really good as we were expecting to taste the blueberries and not the ice. PHP100
